This visit and collaboration was supported by KIORCC, as part of the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the Korea Maritime and Ocean University Consortium (KMOUC) and Pertagas in June 2024.<\/span><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-18358\" src=\"https:\/\/kiorcc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/IMG_3723-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kiorcc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/IMG_3723-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/kiorcc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/IMG_3723-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/kiorcc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/IMG_3723-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/kiorcc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/IMG_3723-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/kiorcc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/IMG_3723-2048x1365.jpg 2048w, https:\/\/kiorcc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/IMG_3723-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To implement the MoU above, KIORCC aims to facilitate a joint study as one of its scopes of the MoU to further develop the LNG hub infrastructure in Arun. Through this collaboration, Gas Entec, as a leading company for LNG terminals, showed high interest in the development potential of the Arun LNG facility.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During this visit, KIORCC and Gas Entec were given the opportunity to inspect existing jetty, berth, and anchorage areas and facilities, along with the related weather and maintenance data. With the existing data, all parties hope to complete a joint study for the Arun expansion plan by 2024.
