Quarterly advisory committee meetings are held to support the organization’s objectives in facilitating Government-to-Government (G2G) and business-to-business (B2B) Collaboration between parties in the Republic of Indonesia and the Republic of Korea.

The advisory committee consists of experienced players and experts in the offshore plant service industry, including energy infrastructure development. These experts are invited to discuss opinions and comments on topics within the industry.

For this second meeting, Mr. Erie Soedarmo (former Director of the DG Oil & Gas, ESDM); Mr. Sudjono Suhardjo (President Commissioner of SENA); Mr. Salis Aprilian (former President Director of Digital Energy Asia, Pertamina EP); Ms. Ratih Esti Prihatini (Director of Business Development of Elnusa); Mr. Eko Agus Sardjono (Former President Director of PT Pertamina EP); and Mr. Aditya Pratama (President Director of RISCO) were in attendance as committee members. Some additional honorable guests included Mr. Kwak Chong-Ho, CEO of GasEntec, and Mr. Kim Min-Jun Deputy Manager of the Korea National Oil Corporation.

Fruitful discussions were facilitated between the committee members such as potential plans for new clusters; LNG storage and regasification; FSRU development and investments; LNG pricing; and EPC interests. The topic of rig reutilization was also focused upon, mainly on the regulatory vacuums of the industry; platform status post-decommissioning; requirements in decommissioning; and the implications of differing rig reutilization methods.

Due to the constructive discussions provided through the advisory committee meetings, KIORCC and committee members are eager to support following quarterly meetings to come, to further enhance potential Indonesian-Korean collaborations in the field.
