Korea-Indonesia Offshore Research Cooperation Center (KIORCC), an inter-governmental organization between Indonesia and Korea, is arranging the 2021 Korea-Indonesia Offshore Congress (KIOC) with KOTRA (Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Center) Surabaya on Wednesday, 13 October 2021.  This conference is an annual event and was successfully held online last year and was filled with prominent business players both from Indonesia and Korea to present various topics related to de-commissioning, LNG value chain and shipbuilding industries.

The 2021 KIOC aims to promote Indonesia-Korea G2G and B2B cooperation in offshore and maritime service sector for the mutual benefit of both countries. The highlight of this exclusive event is the MOU Signing Ceremony between the Korean Minister of Ocean and Fishery with the Indonesian Coordinating Minister of Maritime and Investment Affairs. The 2021 KIOC will then proceed with a conference and specific B2B project meetings between Indonesian and Korean companies to identify and materialize the potential partnership opportunities between two nations.  The 2021 KIOC will be held online due to the COVID-19 situation.

The conference session of the 2021 KIOC will have 3 panel discussions under the themes of LNG Regasification Infrastructure, Offshore Decommissioning and Reutilization, and LNG Logistics and Carriers; which consist of multi speakers both from Indonesia and Korea with their respective competent fields.

The MOU Signing Ceremony and Conference will be broadcasted online on Wednesday, 13 October 2021 starting 11:00 WIB. Visit the 2021 KIOC official website (ki-oc.org) for further information and live streaming on the day of the event.
