The Nautical Institute (NI) is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) with consultative status at the International Maritime Organization (IMO), promoting best practices for the maritime industry. The NI DP Conference brings together maritime experts, regulators, and dynamic positioning specialists focussed on training and CDC. For 2024, following changes in DP operator qualifications and revalidation by NI, this year’s event holds particular importance for discussions among experts. Indonesia, as the nation host for this event this year, also is important for the offshore energy sector as one of the main producers of Hydrocarbon and LNG in Southeast Asia.
