KIORCC Attends the 11th Annual LNG Supply, Transport & Storage Forum 2026

5–8 May 2026 – In May 2026, industry players gathered at the Padma Resort, Bali, for the 11th Annual LNG Supply, Transport & Storage Forum 2026, co-located with the 3rd Small LNG Shipping & Distribution Forum 2026. The event carried the central theme: “Delivering Resilience: Enabling Regional Energy Access Through Flexible LNG Solutions for Infrastructure, Innovation & Integration.”

One of the key highlights of the event was the discussion on Indonesia’s LNG roadmap and the expansion of LNG infrastructure to support remote regions across the country. The presentations emphasized how the development of LNG infrastructure including Floating Storage and Regasification Units (FSRU), mini-LNG, LNG bunkering facilities, and small-scale LNG logistics can accelerate the transition away from high-emission fuel while supporting the energy security.

Several prominent figures from Indonesia’s LNG sector attended the event, including the the Head of Oil and Gas Commercialization of SKK Migas, Ufo Budiarius Anwar; Committee Member of BPH Migas, Fathul Rachman, President Director of PT PLN Energi Primer Indonesia, Rakhmad Dewanto; and the Group Head of Portfolio and Partnership of PT PGN Tbk, Imam Mul Alkhyar, amongst others. During the forum, they shared their perspectives and strategic plans for advancing Indonesia’s LNG sector and strengthening national energy security.

For Korea – Indonesia Offshore Research Cooperation Center (KIORCC), the event served as an important platform to connect Korean companies with project owners and stakeholders in Indonesia. Several Korean companies, including PIELDS Engineering, GASEntec, and Hanwha Ocean, participated in the event and engaged in discussions with strategic Indonesian project owners regarding potential collaboration opportunities in offshore energy and LNG infrastructure development between Indonesia and South Korea.

Jugi Prajogio, Senior Advisor of KIORCC, who also serves as Chairman of the Indonesian Natural Gas Companies Association (IPGI), was also in attendance during the event. He facilitated strategic meetings and provided valuable insights and guidance for Korean companies participating in the forum.

KIORCC will continue to support and strengthen the involvement of Korean companies in Indonesia’s energy sector, particularly in offshore energy development, LNG infrastructure, and energy transition initiatives.
