17 July 2024 – KIORCC hosted its third Advisory Committee Meeting (ACM) to study industry developments in Indonesia from key and experienced industry players and veterans. This ACM session included the participation of Dr. Ir. Djoko Siswanto, MBA, General Secretary of the National Energy Council of the Republic of Indonesia; Mr. Sudjono Suhardjo, President Commissioner of PT Solusi Energy Nusantara; Mr. Aditya Pratama, President Director of PT Risco Energy Pratama; Dr. Erie Soedarmo, former President Director of Capitalinc Investment; and Mr. Eko Agus Sardjono, former President Director, PT Pertamina EP.

This meeting is particularly important for KIORCC to expand collaborations between Korean and Indonesian Oil and Gas Companies to conduct rig re-utilization projects (including Rig-to-LNG Regasification Terminal, Rig-to-CCS, and Rig-to-Fish Farm), along with other Offshore EPC, LNG and Cold Storage-related activities.

Several insightful discussions were facilitated during this meeting, ranging from strategies to accelerate rig re-utilization projects in Indonesia, to approaches to form collaborations with state-owned enterprises (SOEs), regulations to be aware of in reutilization, prospective Offshore EPC projects, the commercialization of LNG, and key technical aspects in LNG-related projects.

Through holding ACMs over the last few years, KIORCC has been able to provide enhanced project and company support in carrying out various offshore topics in Indonesia. With these continuous updates by experts in the Indonesian landscape, KIORCC hopes to continue its strategic participation in the development of offshore projects within the archipelago.
