Call for Applications – Mid-Term and Long-Term Training Official Development Assistance Program

“The Indonesian Eco-Friendly Offshore Plant Service Industry Capacity Building Project Official Development Assistance” Official Development Assistance Program, established by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, Republic of Korea, and the Indonesian Government in 2025, is opening applications for mid-term and long-term training opportunities for aspiring professionals and experts in the offshore plant service industry.

The mid-term program, which will be a 30-day training program targeting professionals engaged in the offshore and maritime-related industries, will focus on LNG operations, including SIGTTO LNG Operator Training, IOSH Safety Training, Offshore Structure Safety Training, LNG-FSRU Operation fundamentals, and other key aspects in LNG Operations. This program aims to strengthen practical job competencies, as well as enhance professional skills and gain opportunities to obtain internationally recognized certifications to support career development and workplace effectiveness. Meanwhile, the long-term program, which will be a 90-day program for aspiring industry professionals, will include LNG training along with an internship opportunity in various offshore sector industries. With this opportunity, participants can gain hands-on experience in Korea’s maritime and offshore plant service industries. (LONG TERM TRAINING BROCHURE)

Training programs will be held annually over the program period, with differing training topics relating to the offshore plant service sector. Applications for this year’s training programs are open until 24 June 2026 for further selection by the Korean program hosts, and costs will be covered by the Official Development Assistance Program.
